Questions, answered
The essentials on how agentic shipping with MBE works — from what "agentic AI" actually means to how pricing, onboarding, security, and integrations come together. If your question isn't here, our team is one message away.
What does "agentic AI" actually mean here?
It means autonomous software agents that sense market conditions, reason over millions of routing and rate options, and act — booking and re-optimizing shipments — with your team setting the priorities and keeping final say.
Which shipping modes do you cover?
All four divisions: courier and document delivery, air shipping, rail freight, and ocean freight — across both domestic and international lanes.
How many carriers can you access?
We represent more than 82 brand-name shipping carriers, which our agents treat as a single programmable network to find the smartest available path for every shipment.
Is this only for large enterprises?
MBE is built for enterprise and large-scale operations — we serve 80+ Fortune 500 companies and major businesses nationwide. We do occasionally work with smaller businesses, but only in exceptional cases and subject to approval.
Do humans stay involved?
Always. The agents handle the heavy analytical lifting; your team defines what matters and retains command over every decision that counts.
How do I get started?
Reach out to our team at cs@mbeinternational.com or call 888-958-0248, and we'll develop a custom solution for your company.
How is pricing structured?
Pricing is tailored to your lanes, volume, and service mix. Most clients see the agentic engine pay for itself through routing savings — we'll model the expected impact before you commit.
How long does onboarding take?
Most accounts are moving freight within days. We start with a pilot on one or two lanes, validate the savings, then scale across your network at your pace.
Can you integrate with our existing systems?
Yes. The platform connects to common TMS, ERP, and order systems, and our data mesh ingests carrier, customs, and tracking feeds so the agents work with live information.
How do you handle data security?
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest with role-based access, controls modeled to SOC 2 practices, and full chain-of-custody traceability across every mode.
What visibility do I get into shipments?
A single live dashboard spanning courier, air, rail, and ocean — real-time status, predicted ETAs, and proactive disruption alerts before delays land.
Can the agents optimize for sustainability?
Yes. Carbon is a first-class routing objective alongside cost, speed, and reliability, with per-shipment emissions tracked and reportable.
